We Really Want a Friend: The definition of a best friend
Having a best friend in life is a special thing. She is someone who is there to listen, laugh, encourage, and even cry with you. A best friend is someone who doesn't judge you but will tell you the truth even when it might hurt. Sometimes your best friend is the total opposite of who you are. You might be reserve, quiet, laid back, and a introvert.Your best friend may be loud, outgoing, and the life of the party. That is fine because both of you balance each other out.
So how do you know when you have found your best friend?
Your best friend will never be jealous of you. When you are winning she will want to win with you and be on the side saying "Go best friend, that's my best friend, that's my best friend". If you support your best friend in everything she does and she never comes to support you, she is NOT a best friend. If your friend calls you out in front of other people, she basically embarrasses you in a joking way, she is NOT a best friend. If your friend is in company with others and they begin to talk about you and she allows them to, she is NOT a best friend. If you confide in your friend your darkest secrets and she tells them when she is mad with you, she is NOT a best friend.

In life we will have our moments when we are up and when we are basically feeling down. The good thing is when you have a best friend, they tend to make your life a little easier. They will listen to you about everything even those hard moments when it comes to talking about that one who has broken your heart. The bond between a real best friend may be challenged but it will never be broken. So if you are blessed to have a best friend, cherish her and the friendship that you two have. If you are still looking for a best friend, be patient because she is on the way. You have to be open to meeting new friends as well. I know that sometimes we as ladies can be very guarded when it comes to any relationship but you will never know that feeling of a true friend until you give that friendship a try.
